Darfur Urgent Action Coalition

The Darfur Urgent Action Coalition of Georgia in partnership with the Save Darfur Coalition (www.savedarfur.org) is working diligently to end the genocide in Darfur, Sudan. Despite the devastation of the past tsunamis and earthquakes, the United Nations has called Darfur “The world’s greatest humanitarian crisis.” Since the beginning of the violence almost three years ago, the horror continues, “women are still routinely raped as a means of ethnic cleansing, and children still go hungry.”

CBF/GA’s Interfaith Task Force is collaborating with over 50 other faith groups and organizations in the Darfur Urgent Action Coalition of Georgia.  Look for more details o­n the Georgia coalition here.
