About March Mission Madness

(March Mission Madness is a weekend retreat for church youth groups. Held in two cities throughout the state of Georgia, CBF/GA's March Mission Madness gives students opportunities for fellowship, worship, and mission work.)

March Mission Madness

MMM 2016 will happen Friday – Sunday, March 11-13 in Newnan, and Friday – Sunday, March 18-20 in Forsyth.

MMM is a great weekend of fun, work, and worship for youth in grades 6-12, offering hands-on mission experience in a variety of settings in each location. A highlight of the weekend is worship, led this year by Matt Marston and David Collinsworth.

Matt Marston, our preacher for both weekends of MMM, is Senior Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Moultrie, Georgia.  Matt is a graduate of Duke Divinity School and served as a pastoral resident at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, before coming to Moultrie in 2010.  He volunteers as a mentor through the Moultrie YMCA.  A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.  Matt has been married to Elizabeth since 2007, and they are kept busy by their two small children, Isaac and Lena.

David Collinsworth will be worship leader for March Mission Madness.  David is a founding pastor of Discover Point Church in Conyers, where he serves as Worship Arts Pastor.  A graduate of Mercer University, David moved to Conyers in 2005.  He believes that living an authentic life and having honest relationships is the key to encouraging p[eople to know Jesus.  he has also built relationships with a network of worship leaders in his area to encourage one another in ministry. David and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Ethan and Ella.
