Special Mission Projects

Help In Milledgeville
Community Baptist Church, Milledgeville, is requesting available mission construction teams to come this summer and help the church work on its new sanctuary and fellowship hall. The foundation is already laid with plumbing and electical "stubbed in." The missions team of FBC Columbus will be working with Community the first week in May to get the project "dried in" if possible. Other tasks will be converting present larger areas into Sunday School rooms. Interested churches should contact Alan Mitchell, pastor, at 478-957-2295.

South Korean Mission Trip
CBF/GA has been invited to partner with a Baptist church in South Korea in a new and unique opportunity...a mission trip for high school students. Along with adult sponsors, students will experience a mission trip that includes "spiritual and cultural exchanges" with Korean students in the areas of attending a worship/prayer retreat, doing local outreach, building friendships, and enjoying Christian fellowship together. The trip is scheduled for July 2012, and participants would be responsible for raising their own support (primary cost is airfare which is approximately $1,600-$1,800). We are looking for churches and adult leaders interested in working on planning, organizing, and implementing the trip.
