CBF/GA and FBC Columbus, invite all to gather for our Fall Assembly, BWIM/GA Annual Meeting, and Ministers’ Gathering 2019

Emily Hull McGee, pastor of First Baptist Church on Fifth, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will lead worship at the Assembly.

Rae Jean Proeschold-Bell


A Ministers’ Gathering will follow from Monday evening, November 4, through Tuesday, November 5. Rae Jean Proeschold-Bell, Research Director of the Duke University Clergy Health Initiative and noted health psychology researcher, will lead the ministers’ sessions.

  • 4:00 pm- Coordinating Council Meeting
  • 4:30 pm- Registration opens in Narthex of FBC Columbus
  • 5:00 pm- BWIM of Georgia Business Meeting
  • 5:30 pm- Celebratory Dinner (Co-sponsors – CBF/GA & BWIM/GA)
  • 7:00 pm- Worship Session 1 – led by Emily Hull McGee
  • 8:30 pm- Dessert Fellowship – Sponsored by CBF/GA


Monday Events (November 4)
  • 8:30 am- Registration/Coffee Time
  • 9:00 am- Breakout Session 1
  • 10:00 am- Breakout Session 2
  • 11:00 am -Worship Session 2 – led by Emily Hull McGee
  • 12:15 pm- Lunch and Ministry Network Lunch Gatherings
  • 1:00 pm-3:00 pm- Mission Lab Experiences
  • 6:00 pm- Ministers’ Gathering Dinner
  • 7:00 pm-8:30 pm Ministers’ Gathering Session 1
